Vancouver Illumination #5

In the depths of ambiguity and chaos there is hope, and an imagination that is beyond what you can hold. ~ Lazaris, Vancouver

Dear Friends, When I think back to the state of our world several years ago, I often feel that, compared to now, the turmoil of those times seems relatively calm. Oh, there was chaos, to be sure, but I recall Lazaris saying right after the 2017 fires here in Sonoma that we had entered a period of “fierce and furious” chaos. I don’t know anyone who isn’t feeling the impact of the chaos these days.…

Vancouver Illumination #2

Pain is out of control in your world. ~ Lazaris

Dear Friends, Before we left for Vancouver, we announced a special offer for the Pay-per-View, Encountering the Unspoken: Healing Pain, because it is such an important topic. It turned out to be a more timely offering than we imagined because at the Vancouver events, Lazaris discussed the current state of pain in our world, and how, although there is enough love in our world, currently the levels of pain obscure it. After hearing Lazaris speak about this subject, we’re so glad we released this when we did.…

A Rabbit Hole of a Different Nature (excerpt)

A Rabbit Hole of a Different Nature (excerpt)

An excerpt from Jach's post, "A Rabbit Hole of a Different Nature," in our online community, A Sacred Place Where Magician's Gather:

Who’s going to win the election? What if Trump? What if Biden?

Here I am, and here we are. I feel as if I’m staring down two very different Rabbit Holes: An election and a future are down there. Which Rabbit Hole am I going to go down? The questions loom.

In my pondering about the Rabbit Holes and the realities to which they lead, I have been thinking about Atlantis. These are the thoughts that tumble around…

Puzzle Pieces from the Middle (excerpt)

An excerpt from Jach's post titled 'Puzzle Pieces from the Middle' in our online community, A Sacred Place Where Magician's Gather:

During the Lake District workshop, nine years ago, Lazaris talked of the Perfect Storm of Change. I think we are in that perfect storm now. To me, there seem to be four individual crises, each with its own brand of chaos, that are at work here. They are mysterious and thus they are powerful but they can also be magical. Each is like a puzzle piece from somewhere in the middle. I think that if they can be fitted together,…

Hope is the Secret

Hope is the Secret

... Herbs, tiny carrots, green beans, and lettuces, all from our garden.

Enrique and I are quarantined in the countryside here in Colombia. We are healthy, secure, and safe. We are away from the city because the potentials of violence are more real in Colombia than in California. The virus is here in Colombia. It came late, but it's now here, and the fears that come with it are expanded because of the still developing nation status of Colombia.

We had planned to go back to California for the March events of course, and when they were postponed until December, we thought…

Inner Peace, Part 2

By Lazaris

An excerpt from the personal growth recording, Inner Peace by Lazaris:

Note: In Part I, Lazaris discussed the beauty and necessity of achieving inner peace, and the 'blockbuster' emotions — anger, hurt, self-pity and fear — which prevent our achieving it. In this part, he turns to the 'bugaboo' emotions, the ones we overlook or don't understand, and explores how to work with them and what to put in their place to create the inner peace we want.

The Bugaboo Emotions

We want to move on now and look at those 'bugaboo' emotions - the subtle,…

Inner Peace, Part 1

By Lazaris

An excerpt from the personal growth recording, Inner Peace by Lazaris:

Today we want to work with some of the 'bugaboo' emotions that you have, bugaboo emotions that stand in the way of your having inner peace. We want to work with anxiety, with worry, and with confusion and doubt.

Admittedly, these are not the only things that are standing in the way of inner peace. The blockbuster emotions you are familiar with already — unexpressed anger and hurt, self-pity and fear. We will be talking about those feelings as well, but much more briefly. We want…
