Nature Spirits

Blog: Nature Spirits

By Jach

A Grouping of Questions with Jach’s Replies from the Online Conferences

Q: Lazaris suggested getting in touch with nature and the nature spirits during this phase, and I wondered … What are some ways that you work with the nature spirits?

JACH: Well … I have been renewing that work over the last few days, so I am glad you asked. [Ed Note: This question and answer come from an Online Conference during the year 2000.]

I have a really strong relationship with gnomes. Fire is my element when it comes to the Unknown and when it comes to working with the Mystical Other, but the Earth element has very profound meaning for me in this world and in my work with this world. So gnomes have a special place in my heart and in my magic.

Out by the pool there is a cluster of rocks, and there are ferns that grow all around the rocks. There is an etheric gateway there. When the gateway is open the ferns seem to have shifted and one particular rock is visible. When the gateway is closed the fern fronds seem to be in a different position, and you cannot see the rocks at all. When the rock is visible, the gateway is open, and I stare into its vortex.

There is a particular gnome that comes and sits there. We talk across the pool. It’s telepathic, but we have full and lively conversations. I ask for help with some of my magic. He asks me for help with his projects. Funny, I just realized that he never calls these things his magic; these things are always his projects. I suppose that’s because everything is magic to a gnome, ya think? Anyway, we work together that way. Sometimes we sit and just look at each other. I practice seeing without my eyes and then with them. I am not sure what he is practicing. Maybe he’s being polite.

Also, between Peny’s house and mine, there is a wonderful wetlands-forest-magical lair type of place. We built these wonderful wood walkways through this conservation area. Lazaris has said there are several vortices to the Other in that area. Jennifer, who works for us, has had many experiences with these vortices as she tromps through that area. She has had many dreams that are much more than dreams.

So I use that area as a place to nurture and re-energize. Now, those who know me realize that I am not likely to be trampling around in those wetlands. [g] But here is where altered states, out-of-body adventures, and teleporting can be very useful. [g]

A lot of what I do in this regard comes down to feeling gratitude. I spend time being conscious of the Nature Spirits. I work with sylph and undines, as well. But most of what I do is to be conscious of their presence. I am conscious of the work they do. And I feel grateful. I feel appreciation. I feel joy. I feel thankful. And I express that to them. I haven’t hugged a tree in more years than I can say, but I have talked with them often. And I have talked with the gnomes that work so closely with them.

I had a willow tree in the backyard in California. I don’t have one now. But there is a section of my backyard where there is a willow tree growing. It’s in another world. You cannot see it physically, though I can now. But many people have commented on how there is ‘something special’ going on in that part of the yard. Yeah, a willow tree is growing there. [g]

Thanks for asking. I could go on and on but I won’t.

Q: Would you please clarify from the Magic Mills event the energies and forces of the universe and the calling of the Nature Spirits. I don’t know if this was covered Friday, but I could not quite get it. I appreciate this, and the whole event was so profound.

JACH:

Well, I am glad you could get to the workshop for Saturday and Sunday … and it is good to hear from you tonight.

There are four energies of the universe … life energy, light energy, warmth as energy, and chemical energy. To effectively activate the Mills, we need to call upon the ‘energies of the universe.’ But we need to transmute those energies into a more applicable form. So we need to call down these energies to be transmuted into forces. The four forces of the universe are gravity, weak/strong; strong/weak; and electromagnetic, respectively. So we call the energies of the universe and downstep-generate them (transmute them) into forces of the universe.

At the same time, to activate the Mills, we need to call upon Earth’s energy. To do that, we need to call upon the spirit of Nature (capital N). And that energy needs to be lifted to the level of Elements … to the level of Elemental Magic. So we call upon the gnome, sylph, salamander, and undine energies to be lifted to the Elements of Earth, Light, Fire, and Water, respectively. A quick reminder: These Elements are metaphorical terms.

Now with the forces of the universe and the elements of Nature, we allow them to converge: life/gravity combine with Earth and gnomes; light/weak-strong combine with Air and sylphs; warmth/strong-weak combine with Fire and salamanders; chemistry/electromagnetic combine with Water and undines, and they all combine with each other.

And the spark for the energies and forces of the universe ignites and combines with the Elements and Nature of Earth, and magic happens. The Mills are activated. All this relates to the seminal spark from the universe, impregnating the new form emerging from the womb of the earth. It has to do with spirit seeking soul and soul waiting to be found, and the great turning of the wheel. This is what activates the Mills. And the magic begins (well, it is actually well underway [s]). I hope that helps.

Q: Are the Nature Spirits part of what helps us create our dreams, along with the other Unseen Friends?

JACH:

Hi there … I am having difficulty figuring out the phrases to use in answering your question. Give me a moment here. [s]

Nature Spirits surely can help us in creating our dreams, there is no question. But do they? On one hand, since our physical world within our physical universe is composed of the energies of the universe: light, life, warmth, and chemical energies … and of the corresponding forces: weak/strong, gravity, strong/weak, and electromagnetic … certainly our dreams are comprised of these energies and forces, too.

The Nature Spirits are metaphorical expressions of these energies and forces. So if we create our dreams and then manifest those creations, I suppose it would be proper to say that the Nature Spirits participated. But did they help us? From this point of view, I think I would answer no. The Nature Spirits don’t help us. They participate. Without their participation, we wouldn’t create anything, and we certainly would not create dreams. Without their participation, we wouldn’t manifest anything, and likewise, we wouldn’t manifest dreams. But participation does not mean help. It’s not as if the gnomes ‘care’ what dreams we create; it’s not as if they jump in to assist us out of some emotional bonding. [s]

That said, on the other hand, if we are conscious of the Nature Spirits, and if we develop a rapport with them, then we can ask for their help and their guidance in the creation and in the manifestation of our dreams. With the appropriate rapport with them and the proper belief in ourselves, I think they can help us immensely with all aspects of our dreams. They … the gnomes, sylphs, salamanders, and undines … can be powerful players in the working of our magic. For some, they can be esoteric or mystical players. In that consciously requested participation, they can help. They can also bring an almost unspeakable richness to the living of our lives.

You know, during this month of January, I have been following Lazaris’ suggestion to gain perspective and to explore issues of mattering more deeply. I have been thinking about the cliche of ‘what matters is … health, happiness, following our dream, etc.’ And these are important things. Don’t get me wrong. But I am coming to a personal conclusion about the important issues. And the term that keeps coming up for me has to do with the depth of experience or has to do with the richness of experience. Sure, the content is valuable and all, but the depth and richness and the texture of that content seem to stand out in my living of life. At least, that is how it is feeling in this January, 2003.

Though I hadn’t thought of it before, it seems to me that developing that rapport and letting that rapport mature into a relationship with the Nature Spirits would be an excellent way to find that depth and to cultivate that richness. In addition, the phrase ‘beautiful patterns of understanding’ popped into my head the other day. To the question: ‘What do I really enjoy doing?’ I answered: ‘I really enjoy spending time thinking and searching thought, looking for beautiful patterns of understanding.’ I am not sure where that came from, but I suspect it was from my Higher Self and that it flowed out of my unconscious.

To work with the Nature Spirits seems like a viable way to find those patterns. I hope that answered your question. Your asking this question offered me an answer I was looking for. [s]
