A note from Jach about this Talisman:

A veil is opening with a red sphere partially exposed. The sun? A new dawn? Is that me coming out from behind the veil? A new me, a more valuable one and one more valued by myself? My eyes follow the curve of the soft blues, greens and yellows of the circumscribing circle. The Earth? Maybe.

My attention jumps to the outer rung with its shades of blue with touches of purple and red. The boundaries blur and I am drawn to the widest circle of flowing rich purples and greens. Vibrant. Alive. There is an undulating movement in this talisman: inner to outer and back to inner again. I get lost for a moment until I am drawn into the center again. It’s different this time, but I don’t know why. From the red in the center, my eyes follow the reds of the thinnest ring, and finally I see the sigils of this talisman. Wow.

I think these symbols are exceptionally beautiful, and again, I don’t know why. For me the curves and straight lines feel “right.” And the dots — oh, those dots — there’s a wholeness there that might lead to Oneness. What are those circles in the symbol on the right? Past, present, future, or the three Orbs of Mystery? That’s the symbol that captures my attention most often. I can’t escape its hold. I don’t want to escape; I like being held. Eventually I jump from sigil to sigil. On the left, is that an I Ching symbol — nourishment and self-nourishment? Perhaps … or maybe not. Finally I return to that partially exposed sphere.

As I work with this 2017 Talisman that Lazaris has created for this Year of Valuation, I realize it’s like I’m starting fresh … new, more focused, and more real. I am emerging from the shadows with a clearer, more real assessment of myself — of who I am and of why I am. And that assessment is good. I am pleased. I like the me I am discovering. I value myself in ways I couldn’t have imagined doing before, even in the recent past.

It’s more than knowing my Valued Self. Knowing that I’m valuable in this world is part of it, but there’s more than that. It seems like it begins with assessing and appraising who I am newly creating myself to be. Innovation, gratitude, and remembering are all part of the mix, and it seems they are integral to this Year of Valuation.

This talisman speaks to me each time that I sit with it. What does it say to you?

Talismans Created by Lazaris: Instructions and Use

These talismans are designed to function as crystals. In addition to the visible symbols, there are numerous symbols (sigils) embedded in the rings of color and in the arbor. Each talisman has the metaphysical properties and the esoteric properties that are found in quartz crystals. Therefore, whether or not you have an affinity for crystal work, talismans can be an active and dynamic part of your magic and its workings. Any of the Lazaris techniques that are called “crystal working” can be done with these talismans.

It is important to remember, however, that the talisman is a surrogate for the power and the magic found in your crystal alliances. These talismans can be used as if they were crystals, but they are not crystals.

Activating a Talisman:
Place the talisman before you. Pause. Focus. Pick a band of color and lightly touch it at the bottom center with the intent of activating the talisman. Then smoothly glide your finger a full rotation either clockwise or counter-clockwise, whichever feels right. Do this three times. Continuing, lightly touch another color band and trace the ring three times in the opposite direction. The talisman is now active.

Deactivating a Talisman:
To clear programs off a talisman so you can reactivate it with new programs, place your finger on the same color band. With clear focus and intent, lightly glide your finger in the opposite direction from the direction you used to activate it.
