"Surrendering the Separation"

Q. Hi, Jach. The September workshop in LA, "Lemurian Nights," was beyond words, beautiful, and profound. Lazaris talked of "surrendering the separation." They were talking of the "I" and the "me" and to experience rather than describe the experiences. Can you talk a bit more about that?

Jach:

LOL ... Boy, I wish I could! [vbg]

Admitting that I don't know that much about it, let me say this [s]: The concept of surrender is older than old. Click for more...

"Beauty and Magic"

Q. What is the relationship between Beauty and Healing? Perhaps it's obvious, but I've noticed lately ... as I've been touched by it, it seems to bring me to remembering the love.

Jach:

There is a strong connection between beauty and healing, I think ... But I don't think it is immediately obvious. When I think of what you ask, I think about what Lazaris has said about what beauty can do in our lives. Click for more...

"An Exploration of Oneness"

Q. What are the differences between Union and Oneness? Seems like Oneness is more connected with divinity.

Jach:

Certainly they are connected, and often the terms can be interchangeable in our language, but there are differences, I think.

First, union has to do with conscious creation ... creating alliances for mutual benefit. It has to do with creating a concordance or a connecting, or linking, of the heart and also of the soul (I think). It has to do with bonding as well as with binding together. In all this, union implies separateness. In the alliances of union there is still you and me ... there is also an us, but there is still you and me. In the alliances there are still parts that are gathered, collected, and combined. Click for more...

"The Tiers of Emotion"

Q: Jach, would you care to comment on working with the Tiers of Emotion?

Jach:

Tiers of Emotion ... During the evening workshop Lazaris talked about charting the new course for the future and for the world. Cutting to the core of it, he pointed out that the key to charting the new course was in visioning. It all begins with vision; it all begins with visioning. I find that so incredible and so amazingly powerful. It all begins with vision. Vision is the light or the Light. It is a state of mind or a state of being that is exceptional in its utter and sublime beauty.

Vision is the light, and function follows the light. Function, our function, follows the light, and thus it follows the vision ... OUR vision. Ha! Function follows vision/light. And form follows function. If we want to change something, vision it. Lazaris said it so much better.[s] Click for more...

"Encountering the Dark Wood"

Q. Jach, please would you talk about the Dark Wood? I have seen only short references to it.

Jach:

The Dark Wood ... Lazaris first referenced the Dark Wood when he talked about the mystery, the magic, and the power of belonging. It is third among our needs according to Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. And belonging -- something we are born with, something that is challenged, and something that we lose -- is also a gift of the Ancients.

There are certain challenges to our sense of belonging. One of those challenges is our denial of our Dark Wood. That is, when we pretend that we don't have a personal Dark Wood, when we pretend that we are not in our own Dark Wood (when we are), our sense of belonging is challenged. With this denial, many things can go askew. One of them is that we drift away, and then farther and farther away, from our sense -- the power and the magic -- of belonging. "Glamours, the Muse, and the Sisters of the Cauldron"

Q: Having just returned from the Arthurian Legends Intensive, I was wondering if you could expand upon the "Glamours" - who/what are they and what is their relationship to the Muse and to us. During one meditation the Glamour of Compassion (in the 9th position?) came to me, but I know I don't really understand what that means or how I can make that significant and meaningful in my daily life. So, any hints and clues would be greatly appreciated!! BTW - what an incredible intensive - thank you!!!!!

Jach:

Lazaris first explored the Glamours in depth while working with the faerie realm. He points out that the Glamours do not belong to the faerie realm, but they are easier to encounter there.

The Muse are the "Sisters of the Fire." They are the energy or consciousness that is present in the igniting of the fires of passion and of creativity. They are present in the ignition of the fires of inspiration and change, as well. They are the god-being energies related to the fire element. Lazaris has talked of them often in workshops. "Passion, Joy, and Fire Magic"

Q: At the Joy of Right Living Workshop, Lazaris talked about boundaries of belief (ceiling), floor (love), and walls of imagination and trust. Could you talk about ways you expand the walls of your imagination and trust?

Jach:

Expanding imagination ... well, upcoming is a workshop on the Imaginal Realm where imagination imagines itself ... I suppose that would be a way to begin. [s] However, here's what comes to mind as I think about it now.

What are the components of a living imagination? More than an active imagination, which is a consensus term and a concept highly and successfully developed by Carl Jung, what are the components of a living imagination? More than an active one, a living imagination involves ... passion, compassion, desire, logic/reason, the body, images, and inspiration. Lazaris puts it together much more neatly, but those are the terms I remember. So the way to expand our imagination can begin by exercising and expanding these components. Click for more...

"Magician's Tool Chest: Magic and the Mystic Mills"

Q: At several events Lazaris has been speaking about the Living Matrix of Magics. Could you explain its importance and function? Also, how are the Mystic Mills and Crystal Grids connected with it?

Jach:

A Mystic Mill . . . a series of circles or wheels around an arbor . . . wheels that turn to generate more power than is used in their turning. A Mystic Mill . . . a mill that is encoded so that, when it is properly aligned, it creates a venerable platform for the working of any kind of magic or a springboard to the worlds of Other. There are mills in Sirius, in Lemuria, in Atlantis, and in the faerie realms of Lemuria, Atlantis, and of our modern world. A Living Matrix of Magics . . . among the many mills that reach across space and time, there are certain among them that are linked together. This network or web of linkage between certain of the Mystic Mills creates a matrix. This matrix of Mystic Mills is called the Living Matrix of Magics. Click for more...

"Light Beings and Beings of Light"

Question:  What is the difference between Light Beings and Beings of Light?

Jach:

Well, to your question ... We are all light beings ... We are all spiritual beings ... We happen to be light beings/spiritual beings who have chosen to express *part* of ourselves in a physical form. Everyone is a light being, and every consciousness could be called a light being ... plant, animal, mineral ... In the animism of reality, all things have consciousness ... All things have spirit ... All things are light beings.

The Beings of Light -- the Shining Ones of Sirius, as Lazaris calls them -- are different, and the naming is different to signify that.

Now ... from the Taking Our Place Among the Beings of Light Intensive. Lazaris explained that there were basically four types of "people" who inhabit/inhabited the planets of Sirius. Sirius A is the sun to two major planets, and Sirius B was the sun to one major planet. Upon these planetary systems, there were/are people. Now they do not have bodies as we think of them, but they are part of the Lower Worlds: physical, astral, causal, and mental planes. Click for more...

"Working in the Liminal with the Elements"

Question: Lazaris characterizes the Liminal in terms of chaos, order, the Elements and vulnerability. Would you discuss what is meant by order, both imprisoning and liberating, as well the elements, both wild and wonderful?

Jach:

To me there are so many layers or levels to the Liminal, and each seems to have similar defining characteristics.

Chaos ... though I don't think any of us really understand it, we all seem to have a familiarity with the term that allows us to feel comfortable with the concept. And the Liminal, that which is the "in between," does have chaos ... uncertainty, confusion, unknown ... Each term seems to apply when thinking of chaos (for me at least). I think Lazaris includes "order" in the description as the counterbalance to chaos. In a way, I suppose it (order) represents the opposite end of the continuum to chaos.

"Thoughts on the Arthurian Legends #1"

The Great Circle and the Secrets of the Round

The Glamours and the Sisters of the Cauldron

Merlin Energies

Q: Hi, Jach! Could you say something about the Arthurian legends and how they relate to our current spiritual quests?

Jach:

Well, Lazaris has a lot to say about this. He just finished four full days saying something about this. [vbg] But let me answer your question this way...  Lazaris points out that the Arthurian Legends hold many mysteries and secrets. Within the legend that "is older than the tale" there is the mystery of the Great Circle; there is/are the Secrets of the Round.

There is also the complexity of the worlds out of which we can create a confluence of magics, and there is the Mystery of the Grail, the Majesty of Chivalry, and the Magnificence of Love. All of this and more are within the folds and in the wrinkles and creases of the legend. Click for more...

"An Invitation to Magicians"

This evening (Wednesday) I was talking with a dear friend about the final meditation from the most current workshop: The Great Work: Reuniting Human and Faerie Magicians. Though my details were sketchy, she suggested that it might be neat to share this meditation through email so that others who were not at the workshop could participate in this working of magic. Through this website and forum, the "Jach & Lazaris Room," we look forward to new and definitely exciting ways to share ourselves, our experiences, and a bit of Lazaris, too, as part of this New Age Forum. We look forward to creating a spiritual community together, and we ask for your help and your participation in doing so. Spiritual Community is not new to the New Age Forum. The existing community that has already evolved can be both a platform and a springboard from which to build another safe place for our ever-expanding growth.   (continued)

We, who are so engaged in our metaphysical path and our spiritual journey, know the value of having a personal dream; we understand the power of having global dreams. Much of our inner work to create a more harmonious world for ourselves, for those we love and care about, and for our planet has to do with having such dreams and with moving beyond only talking about them into beginning to live them.  (continued)

I want to write a bit about the concept of negative ego, offering some of Lazaris' ideas and some of my thoughts about the concept. I have been hesitant to do this because the arena of ego and negative ego (there is a distinction) is intricate and complex, not readily lending itself to the fast-paced nature of messages posted in a forum section. Also, I do not want this section to become burdened with lengthy posts that feel more like one-way treatises on this or that subject rather than like two-way dialogs on a vast array of ideas. (continued)

Question:  Can anybody tell or give me his definition what exactly a Spiritual Adult is?

Good question! <g> Actually Lazaris spent an Evening with Lazaris years ago discussing this very topic. It's called "Discovering the Adult."

During that evening Lazaris talks suggest that an adult (different from a grown-up) is a synergy. The whole (adult) is greater than the sum of the parts. One of the parts is our Free Child. (continued)

Within the consensus reality, many feel that emotions just get in the way. Many see no value in "wasting time" talking or explore emotions as they want to move on to solving or resolving. Many want to skip the feeling it part so they can move swiftly to the fixing it part. It is a chauvinistic attitude, to be sure, but many feel that they do not want to face or talk about emotion because it, "Just screws things up."  (continued)
I realize that the resolve-release part of blowing off the soot can be confusing. I have found that it does not have to be if I can identify the part of me who does not want me to do it. Sometimes it is my negative ego or my martyred part that is strongly opposed to dealing honestly with my emotions at all. When I can own that, the entire process becomes much faster and a whole lot more elegant. I am sure many of you have found the same thing. (continued)

As this year began, Lazaris spoke of seven underlying truths that were integral to our mastery and to the artistry of 1995. One phrase jumped out at me. "If you can consciously define your prison, you can plan and chart your escape." Fear is one prison that we all have in common; it is a prison we all know too well.  (continued)
