FAQs for the iPod Plus 25 Package

Q: What is the cost?

A:  It depends on which titles you order, and which iPod.  For instance, if you pick the 160gb iPod Classic (recommended) for $350 and add 25 Evening Titles, then since they are $25 each, your digital titles will cost $625 plus the $350 for the iPod you've selected. That would be $975.**

Another package might be:  The 80gb iPod Classic for $250 plus 20 of the most recent Evening titles, all the Connecting with Lazaris (26 titles) and Accelerated Journey Series (26 titles).   That would work out to be: $1,146.40 for the digital goods and $250 for the iPod you've selected for a total of:  $1,396

So, beyond the cost of the iPod you've selected, you determine the cost of your personally loaded iPod by the selection of titles that will make up your mix.

Q: Why are you offering this service now?

A: We're aware that a lot of people want to work with the Lazaris Material on an iPod. And we realize that many of you haven't gotten around to getting one yet, and/or don't want the hassle of having to download all those titles and load them onto an iPod yourself. Maybe you don't know how or maybe you're not familiar with how to work with Apple's iTunes program. So, we decided to help jump-start your digital collection of the Lazaris work by offering this new service.

Q: What iPods will I have to select from?

A: Currently black iPods Classics come in 2 sizes: The 80gb Classic for $250 or the 160gb iPod Classic for $350.  You can see more pictures of these iPods and read more details about them at the Apple site or via this link: About iPod Classic.

The 80gb iPod for $250 holds the entire Lazaris Library plus about 1 year of additional new titles.

The 160gb iPod for $350 holds the entire Lazaris Library plus about 5 years of additional new titles as well as your personal audiobook and music library.

Q: Why can't you load my selected titles onto a Nano, or iPod Touch, or even an iPhone? I'd rather have one of those.

A: The iPod Classic can hold the most titles. You'll have a lot more room to expand your collection starting with the iPod Classic. So, we're going with those.  At this link you can read about the iPod Classic on Apple's site. It is also certainly very convenient for you to download any titles you want and easily load them onto the mp3 player of your choice.

Q: I own an iPod already, so can't I just send you my iPod and let you fill that up with my shopping cart selections?

A: No, we won't be accepting people's personal iPods. We know that these brand-new iPod Classics are in perfect working order. We know they'll be loaded properly and that all the titles will play correctly. We also don't want to be responsible for people's personal music, book, or photo collections that might be already loaded.

Q: Will the iPod Classic be formatted for PCs or Macs?

A: We format these iPods for Windows unless you tell us otherwise because all Windows and Mac computers can read them. The titles will come up in iTunes the same way in both operating systems. With both systems, you'll be able to add and change "playlists," add titles, and make whatever changes you want to the iPod.

Q: How do I backup my personally loaded iPod?  I don't want to lose all these wonderful digital titles if I were to lose or damage my iPod.

A:  There are many resources on the Apple site for how to back up the digital contents of your iPod.  Here's a page on their site with lots of clearly laid out tutorials. You can also stop by any Apple store and ask the folks at the Genius Bar or the staff there.  All of them can give you tips for backing up your iPod.  Apple now also offers One on One Training at their stores. That would be an excellent way to get yourself up to speed with how to use your iPod and how to back it up, etc.

That said, Concept:Synergy now offers a backup service for your iPod.  It costs $200 and includes the cost of the backup drive.  Here are the details of that service:

Now when you buy a fully loaded Lazaris Material iPod or have purchased one of the Plus 25 Packages you'll have the choice to have it professionally backed up to a small external usb hard drive. In this way, when your shiny, new iPod arrives you can start using it immediately knowing you have a good working backup copy.
