All right. All right. Well, well, well . . . They call it an incursion. It is really a war. They call it the Crisis in the Middle East. It is really the world’s crisis, where the changes and the demands are happening too rapidly to process and too fast to sort through and assimilate. It is the world’s crisis, where the daily routine is more than disrupted, it is being destroyed, and where the old ways of dealing with this century-old conflict and crisis, the old ways of temporarily suspending the violence, are no longer working.

We said it when we talked of the international backdrop for this year . . . this year of creation and manifestation. Then, as we spoke of it, we suggested that the international domain would be the primary backdrop, the primary terrain, in which the forces and energies would be calling for -- demanding -- creation. Those energies and forces would then call for and demand, out of that creation, new manifestation. We added that the international backdrop would be the domain, the primary domain, where these voices urging, calling, and demanding that humankind consider and initiate new production, new formation, and reformation would come from. These voices would also be the ones calling for, urging, and demanding original, innovative, and inventive solutions. We said that mainly it would be the international terrain that would bring people to consider and initiate change. For many, the motivation would be out of a desire to control and a need to control; for others it would be out of the need and desire to change. Whatever the motivation, the consideration and initiation would begin; it would happen. Thus would be the call to create and manifest. Thus would be the energies and forces of this year.

As it happens in every year, there are energies and forces configured in such a way to call a year to its destiny ... to call a year to its fate, its fortune. Out of that destiny comes the inevitable, and come what seem to be unknown forces determining the course of events. In this year, that destiny brings people to that consideration and initiation of creating something out of a need to control or out of a need to change and out of the desire to produce something.

People turn to the solid faces of creation -- production, development, and formation -- or to the fluid faces of creation -- origination, invention, and innovation. We would suggest, somewhere between the solid and the fluid lies the mysterious face, the yet-to-be-known face, but nonetheless powerful face, of creation and of manifestation. 

And the international backdrop has become already in this year that major domain, that primary domain. Specifically we said, and we quote, "It would not be without violence and pain. It would not be without nightmarish tragedy leaving smoldering helplessness and hopelessness behind. That this terrain, this domain would be frightening, even terrifying." And it has become so, with this war that is called incursion, this crisis in the Middle East that is truly the world’s crisis.

As we talked of that international backdrop, we suggested that, amid uncertainty and turmoil, leadership would be challenged and that often new leadership would emerge. Amid power struggles, communication would be the key, and sadly, and of great concern, communication has broken down. As things are currently unfolding, it is not without pain and violence. It is not without nightmarish tragedy, leaving smoldering hopelessness and helplessness in its wake. It is frightening, and it is terrifying.

And yet, we also said that even though the international backdrop, that domain of international activity, would seem to be utter chaos, in fact it would be as a petri dish, cultivating those voices, the old voices calling for creation and manifestation, calling for change out of a need to control or a need to change. This petri dish-like reality can cultivate new voices calling, likewise, not only for the consideration and initiation but also for the implementation of creation and manifestation with greater consciousness that produces greater consciousness. It is as a petri dish for the implementation of creation and manifestation in the old ways and in new ways.

And in that, we also said that the prevailing goodness and truth would shine through. We say again, that out of that same petri dish, out of that international backdrop, out of this incursion that is war, this crisis that is the world’s crisis, that the prevailing goodness and truth will prevail.

Right now the times are dark; you know this. And the potentials of their becoming darker lie ahead of you in the next six weeks of time particularly, but they are not bound by such limitations of chronology. The times are dark and they can get darker. And yet, it is the year of creation and manifestation. And the forces and the energies will render possibilities and potentials, and out of those possibilities and potentials will be opportunity. And in that opportunity, the prevailing good, the prevailing truth can shine through as well.

It is dark now, and the risks and the potentials of its growing darker are very real. Yes, your world is an illusion, but it is your illusion. And it has become very real: recognized and realized. And yet, it remains the dawning of your day.

Is it always the darkest before the dawn?

Perhaps so, if creation continues to flow out of the darkness and chaos of necessity. Perhaps so, if the chaos that always precedes change is held to be only dark chaos. If there is no space in the imaginations of men and women for a light chaos, then perhaps it does remain to be the darkest before the dawn. Maybe it is the darkest before the dawn, if a world continues to listen to the old voices of creation and manifestation that demand this darkness before a dawn.

It is a year of creation. It is the year of manifestation. And the world will consider, and initiate, and see the desperate need to create change: new production, new development, new formation and reformation, originating, inventing, and innovating.

It is the dawning of your day. It is time for you and those such as you, magicians of this current and future age, to step forth and to be heard, to bring your voice into the cacophony of voices to ultimately create symphony. In this time, amid the uncertainty and turmoil of leadership, it is time for you to step forth and lead. The time is ripe not to head up a nation, not to create followers and march here or there, but to step up and lead, step up and be willing to have impact through the working of your magic -- the magic that you know, and the magic that you don’t yet know. At this time of power struggle in your world, it is time for you to muster your dignity and your freedom and to be power-filled. To be powerful.

It is time. In this darkness that risks and threatens to grow darker, it is time to dream: to dream new dreams, and to weave those dreams and to dream other dreamers awake. It is time to dream.

It is time to love. Yes, amid the pain, amid the violence, amid the risks and threats, it is time to love.

In many ways, it is time to create a magician’s incursion. Incursion means to aggressively enter another’s territory. It is time for a magician’s incursion ... not of aggressive violence, but of aggressive beauty ... not of aggressive pain, but of aggressive love. It is time to create a magician's incursion not to generate crisis, but to bring about wisps and whispers of enchantment ... not to aggravate the separation and the alienation, the utter loneliness, but to bring about, in those moments of solitude, mysterious solitude, the energies, forces, and resonance of wholeness and oneness. We do not mean that you should look to create a world that is one. Not yet. We mean to work your magic to bring wholeness and oneness to the table.

Yes, it is time to dream, it is time to love. It is time to create a magician’s incursion -- an aggressive entry into another’s territory -- aggressive with love, aggressive with beauty, aggressive with enchantment, and cloaked in the mystery called solitude.

A time to dream, a time to love. And people, it is a time to celebrate. To celebrate? Yes, to celebrate. It is time, not to celebrate the violence, not the incursion that is war, not the crisis that is the world’s crisis, but to celebrate -- to honor that which is sacred, to affirm and reaffirm, to commit and recommit, and to commemorate. We encourage you to honor the magician that you are and are becoming.

April is a transition month -- a transition between the first and second phases of the year, between harnessing the energies of creation and honoring the forces of manifestation. The particular celebration this month for those who gather now, a Rite of Passage. For those who gather in two weeks, it is to sit with the Ancients and to dialogue with them so as to reveal the secrets of creating and manifesting. So let us be underway ...
