    Against the majestic setting of the Blue Ridge mountains, there was both a stillness and an excitement in the air as so many of us gathered in anticipation of the very special Lazaris event in May. We came together at this Lemurian-like setting to embark on a journey of discovering what Living a More Natural Life meant. We convened to work magic together, and sometimes, to be alone in the solitude of nature and let the incredible beauty surrounding us nourish and heal in the silence.

During the contemplative breaks, each of us would find time to be alone in our way. It wasn't uncommon to see magicians passing each other on walking trails up and down the hillside, greeting each other with nods, and quiet, knowing smiles. And feeling the mist and the wind rise up around us in the mountains, you couldn't help but be reminded of ancient times past... sacred times, healing times... times of powerful magic.

One among the gathering wrote:

"The beauty of the surrounding mountains was also magical, and the opportunity to get out into nature before and after the day's meeting times, and during breaks, was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. The trails there were fantastically well-designed and kept, and the wilderness energy of the mountains, even with many people nearby, was everywhere in the woods."

Being in this beautiful setting with Lazaris was in itself healing and changing. Nature's grace was everywhere, and the Goddess' presence could be felt in the lush slopes of the mountains, the faraway bluish-purple mountains in the distance, the deep wood trails of emerald green, the fields full of pink trillium, the big blue sky, the heavy Lemurian mist that was at times so thick people seemed to disappear into it... and, of course, the Goddess Groves that many among you happened upon.

It was a time out of time, a workshop like no other... and we will return there someday for another magical excursion.[s]
