(Though this first Q&A is from an Online Conference prior to the 2008 Presidential election, Jach's response is as timely now as it was then.)
Q: Lazaris has talked so much about how the new world will really be a new world and not an old world that is fixed, and I wonder what specifically to program for. Is it most effective to program for the resonance that we want, like the resonance of goodness, truth and beauty and a government free of corruption? Or for specifics, like this upcoming Presidential election?
Jach: As I read your question, a couple of thoughts come to mind. ... Give me a minute, and they might come to my fingertips as well. [g]
First, the new world is now destined to be. It's not an ideology or an ideal, as Lazaris has been pointing out recently. But we are just now entering the liminal years or the years in between our current world and the new world. They are still "worlds" apart.
There is a lot that will be happening in these next two decades that the liminal years will comprise. First, there are the building years that make up the next ten years, and then, well, I don't know what then.
But 2018 is the time of birthing the new world, isn't it? The year 2006 is the end of the current chromatic cycle, and it will begin the birthing process in earnest, as I understand it. And then the next twelve-year chromatic octave (2006 to 2018) will be when the new world is born and begins its infancy. So there is a while yet. [g]
So I think we do program things like the Presidential election and the political landscape in America. I think we continue working with dismantling and disarming the negativity and with awakening that tri-polar energy becoming a uni-polar force. I think we continue to focus on the daily magic as expressed personally, nationally, and internationally. And I think we work, not to fix and to cure, as Lazaris would point out, but to change and heal the world we have. I think that is what we do in the liminal years.
And then, I think we work on visualizing the miraculous states and the transcendent states as the way the world will be. I don't know about visualizing for a non-corrupt government, for example. Maybe that's right. Maybe that's right for some of us. But what is government going to be like in the new world? I just don't know.
I am not naive enough, to think that there will be no government or that there will be ideal government, but I really have no clear images. I mean, the images I can currently hold are a government that is a fixed or cured one. I don't really know what a changed and healed one would look like. See what I mean?
Also, Lazaris has been talking about the miraculous states and about transcendent states a little too often for me to ignore that. I started a new thread about working with our unconscious, and one of the keys to successfully harnessing the power of our unconscious has to do with the vision of transcendent states. And it is integral to allowing the Other to be mystical -- to be the Mystical Other. It is part of the collage of energy for healing our magic. It is part of our unstoppable power of magic. And beyond that, Lazaris is saying it a lot. That's a clue, as far as I am concerned.
So I tend to visualize a world in which things happen beyond expectation and imagination and a world in which people consciously talk about that. I see a world where life supersedes and surpasses itself and a world in which people notice that and are excited about it. I see a world where people are hopeful because they see that life is superseding itself and maybe their lives can do that, too. And they are talking about it openly.
I think what I am saying here is that I am visualizing that the current miraculous states become the consensus reality of a new world. And I leave the form -- the details -- to follow that function. That's what it means to me.
Q: Yesterday, while considering the "Paradox of Participation" thread, my mind drifted to what Lazaris said about our creation of a "Virgin Future." Can you talk about how the Virgin Future relates to the "Paradox"?
Jach: I find the paradox of participation thread to be really fun and thought provoking. The actual paradox is even more exhilarating. Hmm. ... I hadn't thought about it in relationship to the Virgin Future, but, of course, it relates.
The Virgin Future, precursor to the New World, is also now destined to be. First, that's a hard one for many of us to get our minds around. We can say the words, I suppose, but do we really grok the reality? I know it is really hard for me. I know that I think I understand it and accept it, and then it seems to slip away again. I keep returning to the idea of a Virgin Future as a fixed up and a much better rendition of the current or the past. I tend to experience the Virgin Future in a Don Quixote fashion. I keep seeing the wrongs righted and the impossible dreams dreamt. Maybe it will be that way. But that is not -- cannot -- be the whole of it.
So, as ideal as I want to hold it, as quixotic as my image of it may be, when it's that way, I know I haven't yet groked it. I haven't yet wrapped my mind around it. And then I realize I don't have to wrap my mind around it completely. I don't have to know the precise details. I can still participate! Ha! I don't have to know every play or every strategy. I don't have to know each move and each step. I can still participate in the creation and the manifestation of the virgin future.
And then I think ... the word virgin means untouched by human hands ... and I smile. I guess I won't be able to pore over the blueprints, will I? I can participate in its creation and manifestation without a direct and conscious "hands on" experience of what it is. And that is so exciting to me.
It seems that the Paradox of Participation is essential for us to have a hand in creating something that is untouched by our hands. And I think it is important to remember that the resolution of paradox is where the power lies. And the resolution of this paradox is in choice. I love it. [g]
Q: Hello, Jach! In the Merlin-Arthur recordings, Lazaris describes Camelot. Apparently, the New World will have the qualities and characteristics found in Camelot, but with the year 2006 "just around the corner," can you give us some more details? THANK YOU!
Jach: Hehehe ... Hi there. Give you more details? Wow. [s] Well, 2006 is fast approaching, that is true. So I go back to that Culminating Weekend called "Earth Changes." During that discussion, Lazaris laid out the chromatic octaves of energy that are active. Beginning in 1982, the pattern of the past was broken and a 12-year cycle began. In 1994, the Vortex of Sirius ... the Vortex of the Goddess ... opened wide and full, as it had not done for over 90,000 years and will not do again for another 90,000 years. After 1994, during the most monumental decade in the history of humankind, we made a choice: There will be a positive future of dreams and visions. 2006 (with a plus or minus of 3 years ... between 2003 and 2009) is the birthing of the New World. And as with any birth, there are labor pains ... there are massive contractions and cramps. I think our world is experiencing such labor pains. But the focal year is 2006 for the birthing. It could be a late birthing; it could be as late as 2009. But it is actually the following twelve years that are key ... 2006 to 2018. The realization or the growing of that New World happens then.
So it's not as if one day in 2006, a New World cries out, and a New World is born with a specific time and date. ... It will not have an astrological sign. [s] And it's not as though our "old world" will vanish and a new one will take its place. It's a birthing, but there the analogy to human birth ends.
See, this is why Lazaris has emphasized growing and changing ... why he has focused so much on shifting our observing and measuring devices. Our reality ... old world or new world ... is still an illusion. It is still the stuff of raw materials, tools, and generating and sustaining energies. It is still the stuff of our creation. In order to experience the New World, we need new calibrations for our old observing and measuring devices. If we don't, the very, very new world will appear and seem to function just as the very, very old one did. There is not some sort of miraculous salvation out there where we will wake up in the New World. It's not about some metaphysical "rapture." [vbg] The energies will be there. It is up to us to configure that energy in formation ... in a new formation ... of a new world.
So between 2006 and 2018, we will be doing that. And even now, we can experience pieces ... glimmers and shimmers ... of that New World. There are many things in my life ... and there are many things in your life ... in all our lives ... that truly are the stuff of the new world. If we look with patience ... attention and intention ... we can experience them. In many ways, we have parts of the New World as our reality already. Yes.
But other people don't, right? Well, that is always going to be the case. There will always be those who insist the world is the same old world. Personally, I don't think we can wait for the "least among us" to get on board. As Lazaris points out, if someone is trapped in a deep well shouting for help, stand strong outside the well and offer to lift them out. Don't jump down and join them in the well so the two of you can shout louder. So I look for my expressions of a New World, and I share that with others. I will not deny it until the "least among humankind" accepts it.
Using another analogy, it is not unlike Magellan's ships. We need to be the shamans for our world. We need to help people see what they cannot yet see. And we don't do that by blinding ourselves. We do that by looking more closely and listening more intently. We do that by shifting our own observing and measuring devices. We do that by working with the building blocks of this decade ... dominion, mystery, creation/manifestation, expansion, union ... and upcoming, illumination. And we work with complexity ... maintaining our individuality, while we come together and function as one without abandoning or losing that individuality.
So, more details? Well, I don't know what it will look like for you or for others. I cannot say I absolutely know what it looks like for me. I suspect it will be incredibly individual and distinctively unique for each of us. I suspect that the New World will actually be more like many New Worlds (plural) ... many different sets of reality creation that are amazingly, even astoundingly, individual. But I could be wrong about that. [s]

Q: Hi, Jach. Can working with the Mystical Other help us give birth to the New World more elegantly?
Jach: Hi there. (And honestly, folks, I did not suggest this question ahead of time. [s]) It's good to hear from you.
In a word: Yes. In more words: Absolutely working with the worlds of Other -- of the Mystical Other (meaning the Other that is not available through our familiar senses, but is nonetheless there) -- can be a powerful venue for giving birth to the New World, or as Lazaris says it, "a world that is becoming new." Lazaris has talked about how we are involved in an evolution of consciousness and in an evolution of the human species. Evolution of consciousness is always happening. The evolution of a species doesn't happen that often, but it happens, for sure. However, such evolution has never been a conscious one, until now.
And the evolution of the human species is often totally misunderstood. People used to have images of people with huge heads and tiny, little, frail bodies, because we were evolving into totally cerebral people. Obviously, not so. Others even now talk of people having extra or additional chromosomes. Again, not so. It is not that sort of totally physical evolution of the species, but it is an evolution -- generating a "new kind of human being." And both evolutions are happening consciously. But we cannot do it alone. We need help. We get that help as we work with our magic and with our friends (seen and Unseen). In addition, we need to reach beyond conscious creation magic and beyond resonance magic. We need to reach into the realms of "Other" magic and confluence magic. And that, I think, is where the Mystical Other comes in.
As we work with magicians from our worlds (current and ancestral) and with magicians from the Faerie Realm -- that World of Other that shares our planet -- I think we lift to an expansive level of magic that can generate realities or changes in reality that are beyond our current scope. I think that with confluence magic -- the blending together of human and faerie magic into a pool of magic -- we can reach beyond the horizons into the Unknown, and we can create possibilities before they become possibilities in our world.
Lazaris talks about this in the Celebrating the Worlds of Other Intensive. The Imaginal Realm is where possibility exists before it is possible, and it's where magic creates itself. And during that workshop, we met with our faerie friend in the Imaginal Realm -- also a realm that we and faeries share. And we worked magic together. And that magic was phenomenal. It "shook a lot of people up" with a resonance shift and shake down. [s] A lot of unexpected changes happened to a lot of us out of that workshop.
But back to the point: We cannot do it alone. We cannot do it with our current levels of magic as masterful and as majestic as they may be. We need to work together. Together -- a concept of our feminine side (regardless of our gender) that is too foreign. Together -- a concept that in our world is being brutalized as women throughout parts of the world are being brutalized. Together -- a concept that with the lack of civility that is occurring in the United States -- is something we all need to begin to understand and to embrace. And together, we can work our magic with other human magicians. Together, we can work our magic with faerie magicians who also have a stake in our success. So, working with the Mystical Other -- which includes Nature Spirits, the Elements, the forces of the universe, as well as with faeries -- can be a powerful component in birthing a world that is becoming new. [s]

A Grouping of Questions with Jach's Replies from the Online Conferences
Q: In a recording from a Sunday afternoon, Unlocking Creativity, Lazaris spoke of creativity as the current we came in on and the one we will return on, as well. He also mentions imagination as the most powerful component of creativity. How does this tie in with the Imaginal Realm and with the current we are now returning on? Thank You, Jach.
Jach: Hi there. Good to hear from you. I know you have worked with the Imaginal Realm before but this last weekend was so incredible. You would have had a great time. [s]
There is a strong connection between these different threads and they are strongly interwoven. Lazaris talked a bit about this during the workshop. Creativity is a flow of energy that has distinct force. Yet to become a usable energy and force in our world, it has to be modulated or "down stepped" in the generation of that energy. It needs resistance to condense into a perceivable and usable energy.
In our world, we are told that creation -- the product of creativity -- is born of necessity or chance. These schools of thought are well established and well laid out. They are as institutions in our world. As a result of that, when we experience creativity, we link it to necessity or we link it to chance. Those are the poles in our world of duality around which creativity condenses and precipitates into creative energy and manifestation.
In the Imaginal Realm there is the creativity that is born of necessity. There is also the creativity that is born of chance. But there is also a creativity that is born of itself that does not require necessity or chance in order to exist and in order to be viable. I think it is that creativity -- the one that creates itself sans necessity and without chance that is the creativity that we came in on. I think that is the energy that is not modulated by necessity/chance, that is the most powerful and the most real, especially beyond the limits and bounds of space-time.
Now, within the creative process, imagination is key. Technique is important. Developing the craft of artistry to the level of mastery is key, there is no question. But if that creativity, no matter how sharp or well honed, lacks imagination, what is it? Replicative, at best. Cameras can do that. Creativity that is only imaginative lacking skill and technique can be entertaining in the moment, but it is seldom long lasting and never is classic. Or at least that's how it seems to me.
So imagination is the most critical and the most important or valuable key. In our world, we are told imagination is make-believe and false. It's interesting how the two are so automatically linked, isn't it? Beyond "just imagination," psychology uses active imagination but limits it to a therapy technique. And Lazaris talks of a living imagination that is very different than the "just" and the "active" imaginations.
But in the Imaginal Realm, there is an imagination that is beyond a living one. That is, just as creativity is connected to necessity and to chance, so imagination, even a living one, is connected to passion and desire, to logic and reason, to our body and our compassion, and to our images and our inspiration. Well, in the Imaginal Realm there is imagination that imagines itself. It doesn't rely upon our desires, passions, logic, reason, etc ... It doesn't need us. It exists and creates -- imagines -- itself. Here is the tie in. Creativity that imagines itself and imagination that creates itself. The braiding of these energies begins in the Imaginal.
Lazaris said something else that intrigued me. He said that the Imaginal is the receptacle to gather, hold, and release the creativity and imagination of God/Goddess/All That Is. Isn't a creativity that imagines and creates itself and an imagination that creates and imagines itself coming close to what God's imagination and creativity might be about? And I think the current that can bring us Home ... all the way Home has do to with creativity, imagination, and love. Add God's love; add Goddess' love; and add the love of All That Is to imagination and creativity. A mixture that is a complexity of energy and force lifting to a higher octave of energy and force. The current that can carry us Home.
Now, having written all that, I also know this description is woefully short of the truth. [s]
Q: Happy New Year, Jach. Would you talk about how you work with your passion and creativity? I am particularly interested in the beginning times of a project or creative endeavor and getting started, though anything on the subject is appreciated. Thank you.
Jach: Hi there. How nice to hear from you.[s] I wish I could ... I wish I could talk of and understand better how I work with these things. I will give it a go.
First, I resist. [vbg] Really, in so many ways, I am reluctant to change, and I resist change. As much as I do it, it is not something I approach with eagerness. I resist; sometimes I fight it. And there are the times that I plow right into self-pity. I can whine a lot about change ... "Oh no, not again!!!!"
Now, this happens when it becomes apparent that change is necessary and when it seems to come about randomly or by chance. It also happens when I consciously
pursue change. Yeah, I know. It's weird. I can be going along just fine, and then I realize ... I am bored or restless. I can wake up feeling an uneasiness,
and I know that I need to make some changes. That is, I know that I need to begin something new ... a new project. It's not a necessity, and it isn't
random, but I know I have to do it. And then I resist ... "Oh, no, there I go again." I can get angry at myself.
But once I move into the resistance, be it pity or anger, I tend to move through it quickly. And then I can find focus. Once over the hump, then the creativity can awaken, and then the passion can begin to flow.
I used to have a much harder time with passion. I could never quite define it. But in the more recent workshop on passion, Lazaris said something that cleared this up for me and it's been much easier to work with my passion ever since. He pointed out that our passion is not really in a thing or an activity or an event. It's in us. The particular activity that we label "our passion" is not really our passion; it is the thing that can trigger it in us. That thing or those events are like matches. They can ignite the passion, but they are not the passion. I don't know, but that made sense to me and cleared the way. I stopped "looking for my passion" and just started letting it find me. [s] Beauty stirs my passion. Beauty in sound, beauty in motion or movement, beauty in a moment ... beauty triggers the passion that is inside me. It also really engages my soul. Tears fill my eyes a lot when I experience beauty ... that love that weeps at the slightest act of injustice or inhumanity and yet rejoices at the slightest act of human kindness ... yeah, beauty triggers my passion and engages my soul. So I resist, and then I move beyond it. Okay. Then I look for the beauty. And my eyes tear up. [s]
Then I am inspired, and I get to work. I ride the wave of those tears and that deep appreciation of beauty. And I come to exclaim the beauty of my own "movement" in creating as I think about ideas or as I write about experiences. And in the exclamation (!) the passion and the creativity are wedded.
And then I get out of the way. In the end I am most often incredulous and then mightily pleased with what comes out of it all. And I love the mystery of it all. I find immense beauty in mystery. I am surprised by how much beauty I find in mystery. I don't know if that helps, but that is what happens at the beginning for me when I think about passion and creativity. Thanks for asking.
Q: Hello, Jach. On the recording "2002: The Year of Creation and Manifestation" Lazaris talks about the *Hidden Face of Creation* or the face between the solid faces and the fluid faces. He says it is in this face that we will find the alliance we seek. Can you share with us what you do to better understand this lost or hidden face?
Jach: Boy, I wish I could. I haven't thought about that lately, but from time to time over the past few months I have wondered about that, too.
There are the solid faces of creation that are most often born of necessity. To produce something new out of what has been or to create new formation (or reformation) generally is a product of necessity, isn't it? Chance sometimes plays a role, but most often those solid faces ... the ones that look to create (and manifest) something new, something different, out of what currently exists ... deal with necessity.
Frankly, the fluid faces intrigue me much more: originating, inventing, innovating. They are also born of necessity, but they can also be the product of chance. While the solid faces most often come from necessity, the fluid faces can emerge from either necessity or chance, and I think they can do so randomly so that neither necessity nor chance has a statistical advantage. [s] Â I could be wrong about that.
Okay. Somewhere between the solid and fluid faces of creation, there is another face ... the hidden face ... the lost face ... the mysterious face. I haven't the foggiest idea of what that is. But then the year is not yet half over. There's time. [s] I suspect that it can be born of necessity or chance. I also strongly suspect that it seldom is. I think it is born of something else. As I type that, it occurs to me: I think it is born of something Other (read: something Other or something that emerges from the worlds of Other). Sure, we could happen upon it by chance; sure, it could serendipitously emerge from necessity, but I think if we are going to find that hidden face, we had better plan on looking other places (pun intended)[s].
I also think that mystery will play a major role in finding that hidden face. And while I am at it, it seems that the energy "between" will be intimately involved. When I think of the energies of mystery and of the "between," the word "miraculous" comes to mind. I think that if we are going to find that lost face of creation, we need to set our observing and measuring devices upon the Other and upon the mystery we find there. Within that mystery found in Other ... within the mystical or esoteric of the Other and its mystery, we can open to the possibility of miracles. We can enter the resonance of miracles. And if we do that, I suspect we will encounter that face of creation.
Will we recognize it? No. I don't think we will recognize it as such. It will come as a "stranger's face," I think, because it has been hidden for so long. But no matter, I think we will find it there. And I think it won't come out of necessity and it certainly will not be by chance, especially if we consciously and actively go looking for it. But when we find it, even though we won't realize that we have, the nature of our creation and manifestation will change. We can still use the solid faces and we can still utilize the fluid faces, but when we encounter the hidden face, the nature of our creation and the stuff we create will be different.
Perhaps that is how we will know we have found the lost face ... not because we recognize it, but because the grace of our creation/manifestation is different. "Who was that masked man/woman?" That may be the first question. In retrospect, the grace of creation is different and then we will retrace our steps, attempting to remember (re-member) where we went and what we found there. Then the recognition will come. And then the realization.
And I think back to what Lazaris said of such: That is where we will master the art of creation and manifestation. I conclude this by going back to where I began: Can I tell you about the hidden face of creation? I wish I could. At this point, I can only speculate. [s] Thanks for asking.
