Awakening Your Brain

All right. All right. Well, well, well. It is certainly a pleasure to be talking and exploring with you again this month. . . . . For the next twenty-eight days we want to work with you to awaken your brain.

Now that is a touchy subject, so let us begin by saying that we are not – we repeat: we are not – coming to you as a school teacher talking to you as if a child in elementary school; we do not talk with you as if an adolescent in high school. We are not coming to admonish you for the bad grades, or for not living up to your potential, or not doing as well as you could. We are not here as some sort of school teacher to tell you that you will never amount to anything, or you will never accomplish what you want to do unless you wake up your brain, unless you start thinking. No, we are not encouraging you to get better grades, or to please us more, clearly not. (laughter)

And although this may be obvious to most of you, even so, many have an instinctive response – a knee jerk response – to this very topic. Some of you may already feel the child or adolescent stirring inside you. You may already be responding as if we were a school teacher or as if you were a child or an adolescent. No. That is not our agenda.

Instead we come as a spiritual friend. We are coming to you as a spiritual friend speaking to you, the metaphysician – the metaphysician that you already are and that you are becoming. We are speaking to you as a spiritual friend, and we are speaking to you, the mapmaker.

We are speaking to you about sharpening, about tuning, about toning, and about changing the neurons in your brain. We are here to help you change the neuronal structure and the electromagnetic frequency of your brain so that it can come alive; so that it can wake up; so that you can come alive with vibrancy and brilliance.

Now that is a tall order we know. And during the next twenty-eight days . . . we can begin. Then it is up to you. Then it is up to you to decide how far, how awake, how alive you want your brain to become and how awake and vibrant you want to become as well.

So often we have talked of the mechanisms of manifestation and the phenomena of dreams. We have talked of the magic and wonder of manifesting your dreaming . . . you do not have to settle for dreaming your dreams. You can start living those dreams.

In many other discussions, we have talked about technique: we have talked about how to actually do it. So often it is your beliefs, your blockages-payoffs, your psychic contracts of pain, and your constricting and imprisoning scripts that stand between your desires and their manifestation – stand between your dreams and your living of them.

Beyond these concerns with which so many of you are familiar, there is also your chemistry. Your chemistry can stop you, and with awakening your brain, you can stimulate a new chemistry that can assist you in this puzzle of manifestation desires and in this dance of living dreams.

Let us begin with a too-obvious example. If one person were to water a plant dutifully, if they were to tend it with loving care . . . talking and singing to it . . . giving proper light and touch . . . all would go well. If they watered the plant with a particular chemistry of H2O, all would go well.

If another person in that sense, were to do everything the same as the first person and if they watered their plant with a particular substance that looked very much like water, that smelled like water, that responded and reacted like water for the most part, the plant would not do well. The plant might well die.

Why? The reason is different chemistry. Both people had a solution of hydrogen and oxygen. However one solution was H2O – water – while the other solution was H202 – hydrogen peroxide. Therefore, in that sensing, no matter how hard the second person in our example worked, no matter what technique they used, no matter how much they sang to, talked to, had positive thoughts about their plant, their plant is going do die.

 The chemistry is wrong; the chemistry is askew. To your human eye with its basic observation, it did not look wrong, it did not look bad, but indeed, H2O and H2O2 are very different substances. We do not encourage you trying to drink – in many cases either one (laughter) -- but nonetheless we do not encourage you to drink the H2O2. It can kill you, instantly.

The point here is, in that sensing, although everything was done right, the chemistry was askew. Similarly, in your reality you can learn technique, you can deal with the child, you can deal with the adolescent. You can go to the Causal Plane, you can go to the Underworld, you can use 33-Second Technique, you can use Sphere of Light Technique. You can do everything ever so properly, but if your chemistry and mechanics are askew they can alter – they can constrict and twist, they can pollute and mutate – those desires and dreams. They can totally eliminate those dreams from manifesting in your reality.

...with awakening your brain, you can stimulate a new chemistry that can assist you in this puzzle of manifestation desires and in this dance of living dreams.

Now, there are many reasons that your personal chemistry could go askew. Ours is not to detail them here. Briefly, errant chemistry-mechanics can be a pre-birth choice that would be called karmic by many. Though karmic, it is still a choice. It is still your choice. As such, it can be changed.

It can be a post-birth decision based on trauma, not karma. Due to trauma, a person can choose, in that sensing, to alter, to disrupt, to twist their chemistry. Some of you, out of your personal traumas and tragedies, may have given yourself a more difficult road, a more struggle filled road, or a more painful road. Certainly so. Rightly or wrongly, the choice is so made.

Further, the brain can malfunction. In this sensing, if you do not get enough touching, enough talking, or enough laughter when you are an infant, your chemistry-mechanics can be altered; it can become errant. If you are not encouraged enough to dream, or encouraged enough to think and feel, your chemistry can be effected. If you suffered certain levels of abuse – not all abuse, but certain intense levels – that would be called traumatic in the childhood, it can alter your chemistry. Life-threatening trauma and tragedy can do the same; it can shock your chemistry out of "existence" or out of "place." So shocked, in that sensing, the brain can malfunction. Whatever the source, this kind of malfunction can keep your brain – can keep you – from manifesting your desires, from dreaming your dreams, and from bringing them into reality.

Similar to a malfunction, there is the potential of dysfunction. For many – for too many – this happens when an infant is not allowed to dream enough during those early days, months, and years. This sad phenomenon can keep you from manifesting your dreams. There is so much more that could be said about the absence of infant dreaming. Perhaps that is another discussion at another time.

Beyond these sources, shame – debilitating and crippling shame – can alter your brain chemistry. Indeed, your scientists are beginning to understand that the neuropeptides, neuroreceptors, and the neurotransmitters that are released within the brain can do damage if they are released inappropriately. Their intended helpful work and positive impact can be emotionally crippling if released in excess, for example. In our discussions of shame, we deal with this issue of chemistry more thoroughly.

Here we focus not upon the cause of errant chemistry but upon correcting and redirecting it. Here we focus upon awakening your brain to allow a new chemistry with which you can manifest your dreams.

The chemistry within your brain is not only vital to your survival, it is critical to your creation and manifestation of a life in which to survive and be safe, in which to belong and find esteem, and in which to create, produce, know, and discover the esoterics of living. That is, chemistry is vital to survival, to meeting your needs, and to living your dreams.

It has been a subject that has been ignored within the consensus of reality and within the consensus of the New Age. Chemistry is something that has not been dealt with in your reality. It is time to be dealing with now. You can seize the moment; you can magically change yourself and your reality.

To begin:

 Emotional trauma can alter the brain function - the brain chemistry - rendering the brain malfunctioning or dysfunctional and rendering the chemistry disruptive or damaging. Creating a reality out of these places becomes more difficult than it needs to be. The propensities for creating and manifesting limited, polluted, mutated, or altered realities from these errant places becomes more pronounced. Your desires and dreams, if they manifest at all, are too often twisted and distorted with this altered chemistry.

To reflect:

Though some may settle for this state of affairs, though some may attempt to convince themselves that it is "for the best" that their chemistry is distorted or errant, it is not all right for you. You are a mapmaker.

On your Mapmaker's Journey, you are among those who are going to make the maps for others to follow; you are among those who are going to create the future reality – the positive future of dreams. You are among those who are not buying into the mediocrity or to the nightmares that so many others are willing to create or willing to settle for. Instead, you step forth as a mapmaker, as a dreamer or dream-weaver. You step forth as a vision maker and a reality creator.

To prepare:

 Before we jump into 28-days of altering your chemistry and mechanics by awakening your brain, let us say a word about music. It is important that you select a bit of music and to record it upon a cassette for your personal use. The music should be an instrumental that brings you into a place of tranquillity and peace and that allows you a powerful sense of deep relaxation. It probably should be fifteen minutes long.

Week One

For the first seven days, we want you to really focus on listening to the music. Once per day, play it loud enough or use headphones so that you block out exterior and extraneous sounds. We want you to be able to focus your total attention upon the music. For some, this may mean that on the first day you only listen intently and with attention. Just listen to the music; listen to its nuance. Lose yourself in the music. Let go.

During these first seven days, we recommend that once a day that you listen and that you begin to reach beyond only listening. During this daily listening, begin to see the music. Begin to see it as color. Hold yourself to seeing it as color. Do not see objects, people, or scenes. Only color.

Let the color move; let it come alive. Watch the color move as the music moves in this particular sensing, watch it rise, grow, and shrink and change. Allow two, a few, or many colors to blend together and to separate again. Watch, in this way, the dance of color. If objects or scenes show up, gently let them go. One of the keys is discipline: only color and colors.

Some of you might have difficulty at first. Relax and imagine. Pretend if that feels more comfortable. What color would you think should be there? Do not try to pick the right one to pass some sort of test. No. Let it happen. What colors come to mind?

Others of you, with an ease of imagination and visualization, might want to start moving beyond color to see beautiful, tranquil, pastoral landscapes, or wonderful . . . . No. Don't. Keep it as color. Hold yourself within that realm; hold within the realm of color and colors.

What you are doing, in this sense, is that you are working certain portions of your brain within the cerebral cortex. You are also activating portions of the cerebellum, the oldest part of your brain – your ancient brain. In both areas, you are activating certain magnetic energy that can create electricity; you are activating certain electricity that can generate magnetism. You are creating electromagnetic energy essential for awakening your brain and for changing (healing) your brain chemistry.

The first week seems too simple; it can be deceptive in this way. Do not shortchange yourself by shortcutting this first week. Once a day for seven days . . . a fifteen minute music selection . . . sit or lie down . . . headphones or sufficient volume . . . focus on the music, breathe the music, live the music, in a sense, as you see it as color . . . . watch the color dance. Let it be.

Week Two

Put aside the music; do not necessarily discard it. Whereas week one seemed almost too simple, the exercise this week may seem almost incredulous. But it is a profound and powerful technique; in its unique way, it can have wonderful impact upon you.

We have worked with this technique with Peny and Michaell on numerous occasions, and they both have reported phenomenal results and changes within themselves, beyond which they can believe, in that sensing. We have worked with this technique in our workshops. It works magically and incredibly well for so many. Out of it many have changed their reality and have produced miraculous results. It can be this and more for you.

This technique, by the by, also is tremendously effective for those of you who want to change certain addictive behaviors, certain addictive patterns that have become part of your brain function.

Because the technique seems too easy, some will want to experiment and embellish. Please do not do that. Work the technique as we suggest. It is tremendously powerful.  Do not experiment; do not try to alter the technique and to do it better, or to do it longer, or to do it more than we are suggesting. Again love yourself enough; respect yourself enough. Honor who you are: work this technique only as suggested. Once you have become proficient and allowed the benefits of this technique to work, then you can explore and experiment with it. But at least for now, do it as we suggest and as we request of you.

Now the technique itself:

1. We want you to take the index finger of the dominant hand. For most of you that is right hand, obviously so. Some of you are left-handed. Thus we say, take the index finger of your dominant hand and place it upon the appropriate temple; right hand upon the right temple, the left index finger if that's the dominant hand and dominant finger, place it upon the left temple, quite obviously so.

2. Now of the other hand . . . take the middle finger and place it appropriately on the other temple. For clarity: the right hand, for most of you who are right-handed, it is the index finger of the right hand that will go upon the right temple, it is the middle finger of the left hand that will go upon the left temple. And you simply place them there. Do not press too hard, just press them lightly, but with enough pressure that you can sense them, that you can experience it there.

3. Once they are placed in this position we want you to pulse energy. Do not run a stream of energy; pulse the energy. We want you to close your eyes, and mentally sense a pulse of energy, a pulse of energy going (very slowly) zip....zip....zip...at about that speed. This zip should be both a sound and a light – a zip and a blimp.

Sense one zip and blimp moving from your index finger to your other middle finger and then another zip moving . . . . zip....zip....zip...zip....zip....

As you do so in a steady motion, then increase it to a faster speed of zip..zip..zip..zip..zip..zip..zip..

Increasing it faster now until it's going zip.zip.zip.zip.zip.zip.zip.zip. Pulsing. Not a solid line of light and sound but a pulsing energy. Then bring it even faster until it's zipzipzipzipzipzipzipzip.

And then move it to a steady stream. Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (Lazaris is "humming" a steady tone here) of light and sound that moves across from dominant to less dominant, index finger, middle finger, respectively.

So again, it begins as a steady pulse....pulse....pulse....pulse....Speeding up faster and faster and faster and faster and faster and faster and faster until it breaks into a steady stream of light and sound. Hummmmmmmmmmmmm(Lazaris hums the steady tone here).

Now do this on a daily basis, once a day for the seven days of the second week. On the first day, you may not reach that steady tone. Practice. Give yourself time and space. Let the zip's or blimp's move from very slow to as fast as you can. Do not force it; allow it.

Once you have accomplished the steady light and the steady sound, once you have reached that level, focus your attention completely upon that steady sound and that steady light. Now, still during the second week, with that steady sound-light, create a loop of sound-light.

In other words, what we suggest here is once you have gotten a steady line that moves across from dominant to less dominant hand then, in that sensing, loop it up above your head or loop it down around your body. Either looping it up or looping it down, whichever direction feels or seems appropriate to you. Create what would appear as half of a figure eight – top half or bottom half.

Now complete the figure eight around you. You now experience a figure eight of sound-light that is looped about you. Imagine. Practice. Experience. This is the exercise for the second week. Incredulous? As we suggested you might be.

Week Three:

Once again return to the music. Now you can use the same music, or if you want to use a different selection that is perfectly fine. Again, with earphones, or played sufficiently loud so that you can hear it without interruption, without interference, and we want you to again see the colors.

See the colors, in that sensing, and this time bring the colors inside your brain. Allow the colors to saturate your brain so that you sense the cerebral cortex with its left and right hemispheres filled with different colors or filled with rippling colors. Allow the color to play within the cerebral cortex and its many lobes: frontal, temporal, occipital. Allow the color to dance once again as it did the first week. Only this week, allow that dance to be inside your head.

Allow the music and its colorful dance to cause the lobes of the cerebral cortex to also dance. Let the two hemispheres expand and shrink. Let the lobes expand and contract. Imagine; just pretend.

Once again, potentially this is a deceptively simple technique. Do not cut yourself short in doing this. Allow your imagination to come alive. You are awakening your brain; you are realigning and correcting – healing – your chemistry. You are coming alive and you can more powerfully create and manifest your desires and your dreams.

Week Four:

Your brain will already be awakening, you will already be starting to see the impact, the changes that are happening in your life, the way you approach things, the way you think, the way you feel, the way your imagination works, the way your visualization works, the way your perceptions and your conceptions begin to work and become more clear. You may be rather startled by the way you are functioning. But nonetheless, you will be also very pleased.

 

Again, with the dominant hand you place the thumb and middle – yes, that's right: middle finger – with the dominant hand, you place the thumb and middle finger together. Once you have touched these two fingers together, you take the index finger and place it also on the thumb so that the thumb now touches both the middle finger and the index finger of that dominant hand.

Then you take the ring finger and also touch it and cluster it with the other fingers and thumb. Now all three fingers touch your thumb. So that, in this way, you are taking the middle finger first and laying it on the thumb, bringing the index finger to touch next to it, and the ring finger to touch next to it, and thus adjusting so that it's comfortable. You have a cluster of three fingers and a thumb. The pinkie finger – that little one – is just sort of left out there to hang in the breeze; don't worry about it.

Place these clustered fingers upon your forehead – the third eye as it might well be called. About one inch above the root of your nose, place the clustered fingers. Close your eyes.

Allow these fingers so clustered to fire (and we use that word quite specifically: to fire) an explosion of light. Perhaps it is like a – how do you say – a firework's explosion on the fourth or first of July. Or perhaps it is more like an explosion of a light bulb or of a light flash from a camera. Let the explosions continue.

With the sensation of continually fired light, hear a continual sound. Hear a poof...poof...poof...a steady poof...poof...poof...popping of the light and sound into your brain through your forehead.

Let this continue until, in our sense of it, it is time to stop. It may be a minute, a few minutes or many. You are individual; you are unique. Allow it to happen according to your individuality and your uniqueness.

From the forehead you move to the hinge of the jaw. To be most specific, the second location for this firing is where the upper jaw and the lower jaw hinge. You can move your jaw back and forth until you find the right location. Here again, you allow – tipping the fingers slightly so as to be "aiming at the brain," the explosion of this light-sound. Over and over again, let it explode. Let the clustered fingers fire an explosion. Then you move to the other jaw hinge and let it happen all over again.

From this third location, move your clustered fingers to the fourth position which is back to the other side of your head just below your ear. Specifically, find your earlobe, that is easy enough, sort of stick this cluster of fingers behind the earlobe, clustering up there tight behind the ear, on the neck, but behind the ear. Fire the light-sound. The fifth position will be beneath the other ear. Fire the light-sound.

By the way, the clustered fingers are always of the dominate hand. You do not un-cluster them and cluster the other as you move from one side of your face to the other and back again. You use the original cluster of fingers and thumb of your dominate hand.

Finally move this cluster to the top of your head. There is still a soft spot there: your seventh chakra lies beneath it. Fire the light; fire the sound. Here is where you allow that energy to explode once again, filling your brain.

The colors may change from side to side, the colors may change from location to location, the colors may change from time to time. Do not worry about it. Your unconscious and subconscious mind, and your Higher Self, are using this opportunity, this technique, to charge your brain, to fill your brain, to adjust the energy in the brain, with those explosions of light.

As you work with these one, two, three, and four weeks of simple techniques, intense techniques, fun techniques, you are going to see the impact and the results. Awakening your brain, you can come alive.
